AI Model Used: AI ImageGen (Proprietary model developed by Envato)

Envato, a marketplace for digital creative resources and templates founded in 2006, launched its own AI-based image generator in 2024.
It is worth noting that, like Envato, many online photography platforms offer their users AI image generation tools.
Getty Images and iStock (No free trial version available for image generation) offer image generation and editing tools based on NVIDIA's AI model, exclusively trained with Getty Images' creative content, but do not sell AI-generated or modified images.
Conversely, platforms like Dreamstime, founded in 2000, do not offer AI-generated visuals but have integrated AI-created content into their library.
Other platforms, such as Freepik (Flux AI model by Black Forest Labs) and 123RF (Flux, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E...), offer AI image generation and integrate them into their library.
Some initiatives are particularly noteworthy, such as Shutterstock (no free trial version), which offers image generation with the DALL-E model and has also established a Contributor Fund to compensate artists whose content on Shutterstock is sold to OpenAI to train its generative AI model.
The increasing integration of generative AI tools into traditional online image libraries reveals new practices: users no longer choose visuals from an existing catalog but now generate their own AI visuals in real-time, which, in the case of some platforms, are integrated into the catalog.
