Origin of 3D animation studio
Founded in 1998 by French and Japanese directors, art directors, 3D designers and architects, AOKIstudio initially focused on architectural and urban 3D visualisation with prestigious clients such as Takenaka Corporation and Odakyu Real Estate.
New requests then came from the entertainment sector and, for 25 years now, AOKIstudio has been producing high-end 3D animation in Japan for advertising, cinema, events, virtual reality and metavers.
IT tools, but also the desires and needs of companies, are rapidly evolving.
The emergence of new modes of communication such as virtual reality and metaverses, and new artificial intelligence tools raise many questions.
In this context, every content creator needs to position themselves and make decisions about the use of these tools.

AOKIstudio 3D services
AOKIstudio handles the entire production of a 3D animation project, from the initial concept to the final film, but can also, depending on requests, take charge of only certain stages of the process such as production, character design, creation of 3D sets and backgrounds, artistic or technical direction, animation or even special effects.
For example, for a Dydo advertising film and as part of a competition organised by the Japanese communications agency Hakuhodo, AOKIstudio was chosen for its original Dydo Domino concept and then, with the support of Takafumi Sadahara, producer at Omnibus Japan, took charge of the entire production of the 3D film: concept development, direction, art and technical direction, 3D object modelling, animation, scene lighting and special effects.

AOKIstudio 3D projects and Portfolio
Curiosity and changing demands have led AOKIstudio to develop projects using 3D techniques in various fields.

From 2010, AOKIstudio specialised in the production of animated films for TV advertising, the internet and events, while continuing to offer art direction and design for film or video games, art installations, as well as developing personal projects such as 3D animated shorts and smartphone applications.
AOKIstudio also remains at the forefront of new technologies: virtual reality and augmented reality.
Since 2020, AOKIstudio has also been offering real-reality-shooting services, particularly in the music sector and live concert broadcasting.

Why 3D animation?
3D animation is a fascinating technique that is constantly evolving.
3D animation makes it possible to explore, experiment and create new visual worlds but nevertheless remains a complex technique that is difficult to grasp for companies, brands but also creative directors and art directors in advertising agencies. This complexity can sometimes hold back the decision to create an animated film to present a product or service, reinforce a visual identity and boost communication.
A fascinating technique that is constantly evolving
How long does it take to create a 3D animation? What are the associated costs?
What are the phases of a 3D animation project?
What are the creative possibilities compared with a live-action film?
What elements can be modified during the project?
Which changes take time and which can be made very quickly?
Which 3D software packages are the most popular, and what can they be used for?
What are the real features of 3D applications?
These are just some of the questions that can put off 3D animation for marketing purposes.
With the aim of answering these questions, AOKIstudio has written a complete dossier on 3D animation.
Following an introduction on the history of 3D animation, this clear and simple document presents in particular the areas of use and the phases of a 3D animation project.
The 3D animation for communication and marketing dossier explains why 3D animation is a powerful and creative tool for communicating with your audience and helps you stand out from the competition.
How does 3D save time and cut costs?
How does 3D simplify communication between partners and the validation stages?
AOKIstudio also offers its selection of successful examples of 3D animation for advertising as well as tutorials for understanding how 3D works aimed at corporate communications managers and creative directors at communications agencies.
