3D animation uses digital techniques to create three-dimensional (3D) moving representations of characters, objects, and scenes.
This can include animated films, simulations for education or training, advertising, and virtual or augmented reality experiences.
Visual effects, often referred to as VFX, use digital tools and techniques to create, modify or enhance visual images for film, television, advertising and other media. This can include adding elements that were not present during the original shoot, such as explosions, fantastical creatures, or original environments, as well as retouching images to correct problems or improve the final aesthetic.
